The flame is gone as it means the Beijing Olympics 2008 has finally come to an end. It kicked off spectacularly on 08.08.2008 at 8pm and it closed on 24.08.2008 beautifully. China had put their heart and soul into the 29th Olympics to present to the world about the beauty of their country, their culture and the enthusiasm of Chinese to the Olympics .China has made it one of the best Olympics in the history and at the same time,China has created a wall for London to crumble , to excel what China had put on such a fantastic performance in the Olympics.but, Go on , London !! ya will rock the next Olympics =p
The Jaw-dropping Opening Ceremony
The firework was awesome. It's like the night endlessly blessed with cheerful colors in the sky. While under the sky, there were artistic performances that full of surprises and awesomeness and surrounded by millions of people watching them in the Bird's Nest and billions of people watching on Tv across the world. I'm glad to have had witnessed that by the age of 18**even though it was just a live tv show. I saw that and felt proud of China and proud of being Chinese.
speechless. Simply beautiful and meaningful.
How many times I ve seen it? A few times, Definitely more than 3.
The Grand Fascinate Closing Ceremony
Special thank you to 1.7 million volunteers.
China matched the closing with the opening evenly. The closing wasn't just simple. Yeah it's quite short, when it 's finished i actually felt....."ooo..no more?.....How I wished it was somehow longer a bit....Anyway, China made it memorable to all of us. They invited the world to see it and did not disappoint us . It actually leave us one of the greatest memories in our mind......Arhh, appreciate all the hard work being done......I enjoyed it so much lol nice nice nice.......
Special thank you to 1.7 million volunteers.

Controversy.....*My personal view.
I knew some bad news will pop up after the opening ceremony. As expected, they came out. About the little girl , Im sure everyone feel pity for her,so do I . In this reality world, sometimes things like that happen. Do you say beauty is not important? Pretty person gets a job easier than the ugly person. You can be outstanding even if you're not pretty enough but you must be extremely smart and capable of something that the beauties dont own them. 2nd, Money. Some people say it is extravagant. China is wasting money and they should spend it in the poverty area ,like Sichuan. Look, if China did not spend the money to organize this Olympics successfully, what the world will say again. China put the effort into the Olympics, is to show the respect to the Olympic, they be respeonsible as a host country. Besides, they take this opportunity to let the world know more about China. Do people wana see a normal olympics with low budget on, i guess not. In turn , China can gain money from the stadiums they built, they will come in useful as a money maker buildings and also left a remarkable architectural buildings in their land. No loss spending money now if you can earn more than u lost from the future.Besides, UK already spent 2million sterling in the 8minutes, means 300thousand per minute, did anyone criticize on this, nope. so why some people over reacted on the exspense of Olympics in China. 3rd) Fake firework footprints.....and others.......Of course, im not saying all people from the world have prejudice on China. I've heard compliments from people around the world about the Olympics. They liked it and were impressed.
Sometimes I wonder, people like to find a hole from the perfect,if you know what i mean ,Chinese saying 鸡蛋里挑骨头........People who always have a negative perception on China tend to criticize about everything they do, is that mean they have admitted China is growing to become a stronger country .So, they are being opinionated to correct the china goverment to not act like the current Usa who some people think it fails to become a role model to the world?? That's what sometimes appear in my mind....I wonder.....They have been always going against the human rights in China, but do they have given China enough time to improve on that.
One of my friends said, "hey, they tell me in 4 years, Mandarin will become the lingua franca."
4 years time is a bit too soon, but it maybe true in the future. Is the usa or the world afraid of mandarin becoming the world's lingua franca, can the poeple accept this change? So, is it possible to have more than one lingua franca?
